Exhibition Design

This section features two standout projects from my Environmental Design class, where I explored the intersection of function and storytelling. Through these works, I developed wayfinding systems, crafted branded maps and exhibition experiences, and curated environments that guide, inform, and engage—bringing design to life in physical space.

Map Project

In this project for my Exhibition Design class, I was tasked with creating a map based on a self-chosen system or topic. I chose to explore popular fads from the early 2000’s, organizing them into categories, and creating a system that reflected their cultural impact, culture trends, and lifespan.

Final Map Iteration

I drew much inspiration from early 2000s cyber aesthetics such as neon accents, glitch textures, pixel art, and bold web-inspired typography, I designed a visual system that captures the energy and nostalgia of the era. The final map combines playful design with structured information, creating an immersive and visually engaging way to explore the trends that defined a generation.

Virus Exhibition Design

In my exhibition design class, we were tasked with creating an exhibit focused on any aspect of evolution, incorporating a clear wayfinding system along with interactive and exploratory features. I chose to design an exhibition on the evolution of viruses. I developed all branding and interactive components with careful consideration for readability, visual appeal, accessibility for diverse audiences, and cohesive storytelling. To bring the concept to life, I also built a physical miniature model of the exhibit, which is showcased at the end.
