The lightning thief
When designing the collateral for The Lightning Thief production, I began by reading the script to fully grasp the story and tone of the show. I then explored visual inspiration and studied examples from past Drexel Theatre Company projects, as this was my first time collaborating with them. From there, I sketched several thumbnail concepts featuring water splash motifs until I landed on one that captured the right mood. I developed digital thumbnails for the logo in Adobe Illustrator and, after several iterations and feedback sessions with the Theatre Program Director and marketing students on the team, I finalized the designs for the show's promotional collateral. I adapted the postcard layout by resizing its elements to fit the poster format, and enhanced the design by incorporating custom lightning bolts which I also used in the web banner design. On the right is a final design for the poster, which was displayed around Drexel campus.

camp half blood t-shirt
While designing the "Camp Half-Blood" logo that captured the mythical and adventurous spirit of the show, while staying true to the story's key symbols. This logo would be featured on the T-shirts worn by the cast on stage. To create the logo, I used black acrylic paint to achieve a textured effect that evoked the feeling of summer camp, balancing a rugged, authentic look without leaning into too much of a childish aesthetic. The photo on the right depicts the final outcome, and the one below it is of the cast wearing the T-shirts on stage, from the instagram page.
Web banner
The web banner design for The Lightning Thief was crafted using the same assets from the postcard collateral I previously designed. I adapted the postcard layout by resizing its elements to fit the web format, and enhanced the design by incorporating custom lightning bolts, which I created as vector illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. On the right is a final image of what the banner looked like when it was displayed on the Drexel website.
